Inspired by "Letters of Note", the bestselling anthology compiled by Shaun Usher, and "To the Letter" by Simon Garfield, Letters Live is a series of curated, live events that celebrate the enduring power of literary correspondence. Performed by a remarkable and surprise cast each night, Letters Live is a unique event that is heartbreaking, euphoric, hilarious and inspiring in equal measure. Those who have previously attended Letters Live will know how memorable these evenings are. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from each show are channeled towards a number of carefully selected literacy charities to support the important work they do.

In “LETTERS LIVE from the Archive: International Women’s Day”, remarkable letters are read by a diverse array of outstanding luminaries, including stunning performances from Olivia Colman, Gillian Anderson, Daisy Ridley, Caitlin Moran, Rose McGowan, Adwoa Aboah, Louise Brealey and more. Sarah Smith, an artist and government hydrologist, sets out on a post-fire stream survey in a remote part of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness of southwestern Oregon. In the course of her journey through this ancient and ecologically diverse land, she unwittingly finds herself interacting with a sasquatch man, and a mutual curiosity ensues. As their friendship deepens, Sarah must take bold steps to protect his privacy, as well as her own.

SXSW 2024 - XR Experience Spotlight 　　In “Letters from Drancy”, you will accompany Marion Deichmann as she recounts her daring childhood journey across the borders of Northern Europe during WW2 with her mother Alice, her painful separation from her mother, her escape from the Nazis with the help of the French Resistance in Paris, her survival of D-Day in Normandy. 　　Filmed on location in Paris and Normandy in France, Marion’s story has been brought to life using 360 video technology alongside 3D environments, animation, motion capture and a spatial soundtrack . 　　Marion’s story is one full of emotion, loss and longing, but ultimately love.
